You might ask, “why on earth should I let you Tudor my students or even come to my high school?” Welp that’s a great question, I’ve played bassoon for 7 years, I’ve played clarinet for 2 years and I taught myself mellophone so I could audition for drum corps (bassoon is my primary instrument) I’ve taught kids at Seminole middle school for 3 years. Two when Mr. wood was directer and 1 when Mrs Valero became director and outside of the pandemic because of covid I was able to support them. So I know how to teach to kids who are younger than me, and on different instruments. I primarily taught clarinet, saxophone and flute players at the middle school, but because of an extreme shortage of bassoon players mainly in Pinellas county I haven’t had an opportunity to teach until this point. I understand music theory, I know melodic dictation and I have good ears. I can teach you as long as you have an Instrument, motivation, and a good attitude. As far as marching goes I’ve Marched for two years, it was 8 to 5 straight leg. I just recently auditioned for Carolina Crown but didn’t make it, however even though I can’t show you their warm ups and/or anything that would violate the terms and conditions I agreed on. I can show you what techniques I learned myself before auditioning and teach them to students.
