Teaching methods 

My teaching style: I’m very critical on feedback. Like if you want me to tell you what’s wrong and why, and how it can be fixed, I’m completely straight forward unfiltered but I don’t use any strong language and I don’t like pointing individual people out because I know what insecurities and fears teenagers have. I’m family friendly but if you’re looking for an adjudicator or a serious instructor I’ll make sure to not get close or comfortable with them, just let me know. I like bringing my mellophone and or bassoon (if I’m tutoring not instructing). The reason being is because it gives the students something to feed off of, it’s one thing to be a musician and another to be a teacher but if you’re a teacher and you can’t play an instrument you might as well be a math teacher. I just ask that they’re somewhat prepared musically before I get there.
